Last week Cathy Cirko and I attended a global meeting of trade associations in Washington DC, during which we discussed opportunities for the industry to increase recycling rates and energy recovery from plastic waste. Association leaders from all over the world talked about the strong correlation between rates of plastic recycling and perceptions of plastic.
